OPTIMAL DESIGN OF OXYGEN PRODUCTION SYSTEM BY PATTREN SEARCH METHODS

Optimal design of Oxygen production system along with rate, pressure in storage tank, compressor power and tank volume constraints were formulated this study. In optimization the handled by using exterior penalty functions. The derivative free methods used for problem. basically designed unconstrained problems. optimum results model obtained MATLAB programming environment which demonstrated effectiveness applicability model. It was observed that Nelder-Mead method better than Hooke-Jeeves method. more efficient respect to its function value number evaluations.
